What AuthGuards is

AuthGuards is a license-management and authentication platform for software sellers and teams. You can create projects, issue and track license keys, manage end users, run a reseller panel with sub-accounts, connect optional customer-facing panels, and automate delivery where your plan allows.

Core capabilities include:

  • License & user management - keys, HWID controls, subscriptions, and activity visibility in your dashboard.
  • Reseller tooling - sub-accounts with role-based access, balance, and optional panel branding.
  • Integrations - webhooks and checkout partners (such as SellAuth) for automated fulfillment when configured.
  • Customer panels - optional branded pages for your buyers (login, HWID reset, subscription history where enabled).
  • Rebrander - optional loader branding controls for eligible Seller accounts and projects.
  • Public hub & store - Seller accounts can publish a public profile, link page, and product storefront.

Features available to you depend on your subscription tier and how your organization configures the service.

Plans & tiers

Accounts are organized into role tiers (for example Tester, Basic, and Seller). Higher tiers unlock more projects, keys, API access, sub-accounts, webhooks, auto-delivery, and public storefront tools. Exact limits are shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard when you upgrade.

  • Tester Try AuthGuards with limited features. Perfect for testing the platform before you commit.
  • Basic Standard features for growing teams. Up to 5 projects and 200 license keys.
  • Seller Full power for sellers. Unlimited sub-accounts and all premium features.
  • Lifetime Pay once, use forever. Full Seller features with no recurring fees. The best value for long-term use.

Subscriptions may be monthly, yearly, or lifetime depending on what is offered at checkout. Trial or promotional access, when available, is subject to the same account rules and can revert when the trial ends unless you purchase a paid plan.

Public hub & global marketplace

Seller accounts may enable a public hub with a custom username, optional link page, and product store. The global marketplace aggregates public listings from participating sellers so buyers can discover products in one catalog.

  • Independent sellers - Each storefront is operated by its seller. Product descriptions, pricing, checkout, support, and refunds for that purchase are between the buyer and that seller unless we state otherwise.
  • Visibility - Stores can be public, unlisted, private, or on hold depending on the seller’s settings. Only public Seller storefronts appear in the global marketplace.
  • Checkout - Purchases typically complete through the seller’s configured checkout provider. Delivery (license keys, panel seats, app users, etc.) follows the product’s configured fulfillment type.
  • Reviews & trust signals - Where shown, ratings and review counts come from the seller’s connected checkout profile, not from AuthGuards directly endorsing a product.

AuthGuards provides the platform; it is not the merchant of record for third-party seller listings unless explicitly identified as such on the listing or checkout flow.

Accounts, security & sub-accounts

You are responsible for your login credentials, API keys, webhook signing secrets, and any access you grant to sub-accounts or integrations. Use a strong unique password and enable two-factor authentication when offered in account security settings.

  • Master vs sub-account - Sub-accounts belong to a parent reseller and inherit permissions set by that parent. Sub-accounts cannot edit public hub or store settings unless your organization’s rules allow otherwise.
  • Accurate information - Registration details should be current. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Reporting abuse - If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us promptly through the channels below.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these policies or pose a security risk, consistent with applicable law.

Privacy & your data

We process information needed to operate the service securely and to provide the features you use.

  • Account data - Email, username, and authentication records (passwords are stored using one-way hashing, not plaintext).
  • Product data - License keys, users, projects, configuration, and logs you create while using the dashboard and APIs.
  • Technical data - IP addresses, device identifiers such as HWID where your software sends them, and security-related activity needed for fraud prevention and abuse handling.
  • Checkout & delivery - When sellers use automated checkout, buyer email and order details needed for fulfillment may be processed on the seller’s behalf.
  • Optional linked accounts - If you connect Discord, GitHub, or Google from account security settings, we receive the profile identifiers those providers share with your consent.
  • Display preferences - Where enabled by your site administrator, eligible accounts may adjust optional display settings (for example masking certain IP or Discord-related fields in applicable views) from the opt-out page in your dashboard.

If you operate customer panels or collect data from your end users, you are responsible for your relationship with those users and for any notices or consents required in your jurisdiction. Sellers must not expose buyer or license data publicly or share credentials in client-side code.

We do not sell your personal information. We use subprocessors (such as hosting, email delivery, bot protection, and payment/checkout partners) only as needed to run the service. Contact us for privacy-related requests using the form below.

Terms & acceptable use

By creating an account or using AuthGuards, you agree to use the service lawfully and in line with these rules. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

You must not:

  • Violate applicable law or infringe others’ rights.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, probe systems without permission, or bypass security controls.
  • Overload, attack, or interfere with the service or other users.
  • Distribute malware, run phishing, or send unlawful spam through the platform.
  • Reverse engineer or scrape non-public parts of the service to build a competing product.
  • Misuse API credentials, publish secrets, or resell platform access in breach of your plan.

You retain ownership of data you upload (“customer data”). You grant us a limited license to host and process that data solely to provide and secure the service. We own the platform software, branding, and documentation.

The service is provided “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as described in our full terms. We may update these policies; continued use after material changes constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.

Billing, subscriptions & refunds

Paid plans are billed as shown at checkout (monthly, yearly, lifetime, or other offered terms). Prices may change for new purchases; existing subscriptions follow the terms shown when you subscribed unless we notify you otherwise as required by law.

  • Platform subscriptions - Fees for your AuthGuards account are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at purchase.
  • Seller storefront purchases - Refunds for products bought from a seller’s store are handled by that seller under their checkout provider’s rules unless we state otherwise.
  • Chargebacks & abuse - Fraudulent chargebacks or repeated refund abuse may lead to account restriction.
  • Taxes - You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we collect them at checkout.

For billing questions about your AuthGuards subscription, use Contact and select a billing-related reason. For a purchase from a seller’s store, contact that seller first.

Cookies, sessions & third parties

Signed-in sessions use cookies (or equivalent storage) to keep you logged in securely. Session lifetime and idle timeout follow your site’s security configuration.

We may use third-party services for:

  • Bot & abuse protection - For example Cloudflare Turnstile on login and registration forms.
  • OAuth sign-in - Discord, GitHub, or Google when you choose to link them.
  • Checkout & delivery - Partners such as SellAuth when sellers enable automated checkout.
  • Email - Transactional messages (verification, security alerts, delivery notifications where configured).

Those providers process data under their own policies when you interact with them. We do not publish internal system details, infrastructure diagrams, or security configurations on this page.

This page is a public summary for visitors and customers. It does not expose private operational data, credentials, or internal tooling. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement or mandatory law, that agreement or law prevails.
